Hockey Fights Cancer Recap

On December 12, the St. Louis Blues and Siteman Cancer Center recognized those who have been impacted by cancer with the 2024 Hockey Fights Cancer event.

Two survivors got to celebrate their defeat of cancer with a bellringing ceremony with their doctors, while kids undergoing treatment from St. Louis Children's Hospital got to announce the starting lineup, join our organ player and drop the puck for the opening face-off. Thank you to Siteman Cancer Center for making this night possible.

Opportunity: Blues Content Series

The Blues have curated two video series to give fans exclusive insights on players, alumni and coaches. "Life as a Blue" and "The Late Shift" help fans connect with the organization on a deeper level by showcasing the personalities of our team on and off the ice.

Hope Lodge Visit

The American Cancer Society Hope Lodge program in St. Louis provides a supportive, homelike environment and nurturing community for cancer patients and their caregivers while in active treatment. This past month, Louie and St. Louis Blues staff had the opportunity to help serve a meal to their residents.

Thank you to Dogtown Pizza and Wendy's for contributing delicious food and helping us spread joy during the holiday season!

Five Goals = $1 Tacos!

$1 tacos are back! The famous taco deal that launched back in 2018 will continue at all St. Louis-area Hotshots locations during the 2024-25 season, offering fans $1 Hotshots tacos the day after the Blues score five or more goals in a game.

Partner Spotlight: Ronzoni

The Blues welcomed Ronzoni as a new partner for the 2024-25 season! President & CEO of 8th Avenue Food & Provisions and Ronzoni Scott McNair shared why he’s excited for this partnership.

Why did you decide to partner with Blues?: "We were launching our brand into St. Louis, and thought the partnership could be ideal. It was our first time sponsoring a major sport venue and we thought it could help us gain traction in the marketplace."
What about the Blues connects to your core business?: "The easiest is our color palette is basically the same. Also since most pasta is consumed in the winter – made more sense than sports teams that compete in the summer. Also, Blues fans are VERY loyal – so hoping to translate some of that loyalty to Ronzoni."

What would you want other Blues partners to know about your business?: "Ronzoni is a major pasta brand in the US, but just was not in St. Louis. We wanted to highlight that we are a St. Louis company, with St. Louis employees. Our town sometimes gets a unfounded bad wrap, and we are hoping the city will support the local team – just like the Blues."

What has been your favorite experience since partnering with the Blues?: "The Blues marketing staff are the best I have ever dealt with in my career by far. They have made everything super easy. I also love seeing our Ronzoni “Zamboni” as well as the warm ups that Ronzoni sponsors. I really cannot say enough good things about the experience. LGB!"
